Dear Adventurer,
This month marks three years since I launched First Peak! And as with any birthday, the arrival of this milestone brings forth all sorts of reflections and emotions.
Above all, I feel a deep gratitude — for the community that’s risen up around this mission of play and exploration; for the experts and artisans who have taught me so much about their craft; for the loved ones who have encouraged me to keep taking risks and pursuing new ideas.
I look back at the little baby who sat on my hip when I applied for our first business license, and can’t believe the brave, bold big kid (and big brother) he is today. I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to embark on this journey of entrepreneurship with my family, and you, at my side.

In reaching this third year, we’re just starting to graduate from being a “toddler” to a “true kid.” First Peak is more independent and confident than ever before, but we still have lots of growing up to do. I’m so excited to apply all the learnings of years past (like these and these) as we embark on our next lap around the sun.
